The single greatest trailer ever made?

    I think so

I think that award goes to [VIDURL="http://www.gametrailers.com/player/36746.html"]Duke Nukem Trilogy[/VIDURL]

Not enough euro techno or Stalin dancing to take that title.

Good lord. I have never seen a better trailer. The bar has been raised, gentlemen.

this is definitely a very funny concept to compensate for what is almost assuredly a very bad game

Guys, I don't think I'll be buying this.

Unless it happens to be 1 zillion times cheaper than Red Alert 3.

    Sold!

Also, I like the idea of a simple arcade style RTS and this game will probably be dirt cheap, like the bootlegged vodka that inspired it.

Is there some video or something that I'm missing? Or is this the "oh shit it's so bad it's gotta be good" sorta thing?

Because.. Seriously. People bitch about Capcom releasing another light gun game for the Wii, yet jump aboard this train wreck of a game?

    Y'all bitches are crazy.

Games completed recently: The Witcher, Resident Evil 4: HD Edition, Typing of the Dead: Overkill, Sleeping Dogs, Dishonored.

When building hype, absurdity is an acceptable substitute for quality.

I like to call this the Snakes On A Plane Effect, and it is the marketing department's most lethal weapon when hunting those slippery 18-34 males.

The difference is: Samuel L Jackson is awesome. Stalin is not.

This looks pretty funny, but if the gameplay isn't solid then I'm not sold.

Their website has that amateur stink. Lots of claims and reassuring us that the game doesn't suck without backing it up with anything.

Someone's bound to be offended by a giant Stalin.

That and Madworld are basically the only reason I'd buy a Wii.

The game seems like a fun XBLA title in all fairness, but it could have a funny campaign.

If they make a giant radioactive Stalin that can kick aliens apart (like George Washington) then I might have to buy this game on principle alone. A dancing dictator screensaver could make the deal even sweeter.

It's easy to miss and for a game with no real info, any news is good.

On the one hand, the gameplay in that trailer looks kinda bland.
On the other, Rhythm IS a dancer.

There's a new trailer up, featuring more gameplay footage and even more dancing. I won't post it here because a) I'm too lazy and b) I'm not sure if I should be exposing myself to this...thing any longer than I have to.

    Oh absolutely.

I'm glad that such an overlooked period of wartime history is finally getting its time in the spotlight. The media focus on Hitler and his Amazing Reggae Brigade is understandable, given its more global implications, but that definitely doesn't mean that the heroes of these lesser known conflicts should be forgotten.

I'm digging this game's attention to historical accuracy; like how the Martians are ranked depending on hue and they've really captured the Father of the Motherland's above average stature.

RPS just put up a little opinion on it

    http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2009/04/29/rps-vs-mezmer-stalin-vs-martians-impressions/

    Shortly put:
Would I recommend it to buy after my experience of its five levels-of-its-twelve? For fifteen quid? Not on your nelly. But there’s certainly car-crash value, especially if you tie yourself in theoretical knots deciding exactly how much of the game is satire.
