Kay, the story so far:
I've been cast in a play that is a murder mystery spoof of American Idol called "I Burried an Idol" as the "America's Sweetheart" contestant, Mary Meenow, and I need to come up with a song to sing that suits that category. Unfortunately, most of my music is very much not suitable. All I can come up with right now is Suddenly I See by KT Tunstall because it makes me happy every time I hear it, which is something I believe this character would very much like. The director is looking more to sappy love songs in the vein of The Carpenters. Anyone have any ideas for songs in either of these categories?
