Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
So I don't know how many other Kyle XY fans are out there, but fuckin a, the show got cancelled and I thought maybe the final ep would get some closure of sorts, but nope, not really. It ended with a cliffhanger and now no more Kyle. Guess the show got canned after shooting.
It's a sad day indeed, as Kyle XY was a really cool show, even if it was a little corny.
They really should have utilized Foss more, but whatever.
Any other fave shows of yours get cancelled with cliffhangers?
I can think of John Doe, which was awesome!!!
Starfuck on

oh man, don't remind me D: so pissed at abcfamily for cancelling kyle xy, especially since it was getting into some really interesting stuff later in the season, once they got passed the amanduh dumbness. loved jessie and kyle this season. there's an interview with the creator that stated their plans for future seasons i read this morning, that had some interesting stuff.
also, the end to freaks and geeks yargh. what the hell, drive away on a magical van to follow the dead? what happens when they come back? yurgh.
I don't know why it wasn't successful, the American viewing audience is retarded. At least it wasn't on FOX and got canceled after half a season.
Speaking of FOX, let's go with Firefly. At least the movie brought some resolution but damnit it had at least a couple years in it. My wife really likes Castle but I refuse to enjoy anything Nathan Fillion is in that doesn't involve him captaining a space ship.

Who the hell watches abc family original seriesesseseses
I was about to edit my original post with saying that it probably was because it was on ABC. NBC and CBS seem to be the only places good shows (or bad) can thrive for more than a year. I also somehow blame the writers strike, although I'm not sure why.

i'm hopeful it comes back in some form. i'd even settle for a mediocre direct to dvd movie or a short comic book series. the problem was that they jammed in too much of the whiney teenage angst stuff and amanda was on way too much. should have focused more on the tragers and kyle and jesse plz

the movie was hardly resolution
there was way more going on than that movie could cover
it was so rushed and ew because of it
ABC Family is dead to me. They end Kyle XY like that? After three years of waiting, Kyle finally starts tearing shit up with his powers, tossing bodies around and moving more shit then Carrie on Prom Night, and they end on that crappy ass cliffhanger?
If Sci Fi doesn't pick this up, they are dead to me as well. Just for the D-level movies they keep pumping out.
The Wheel of Calculadon turns, and then suddenly? Orbital lasers.

Oh hey that is exactly what I said about Pushing Daisies 4 months ago
Did deadwood at least get a good final show? I don't even remember what was going on in the last few episodes.
No not at all. Basically it was a season of big changes at the end and they set the town up for another season of serious business going on. Then it got the shit canceled out of it. It wasn't a horrible ending, but it wasn't proper at all. I'm gonna watch that first episode of Kings and pretend that Ian Mcshane is still playing Swearengen.
I'm sad that Firefly and Dead Like Me have stalled in the moviehopes.
Kyle XY better have some resolution, this is utter bullshit. They didn't advertise the third season at all and were all shocked when it got beaten out by Seventh Heaven renamed aka (Secret Life of an American Teenager.) It would have killed you to do one more season of 10 episodes and wrap it up?

skip it, unless you want closure with george's sister, kinda. that was the only good part, even if it did break show rules. every other part was pretty blah and awful. plus no mandy patankin and they replaced daisy with someone awful
