Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
Many of the mobile Google apps are great - I use Maps and GMail in particular. Not quite sure what the situation with the 8830 (and Verizon) would be, but on my 8310 Curve, Google Maps is able to use the GPS for free as opposed to ATT's $10/month service.
Opera Mini is nice too, although seems a tad buggy sometimes.
All good suggestions, but...and I feel silly here....how do I access the web with it? It's freaking baffling...if I could navigate to the opera site I'd go grab it.
Well, (and assuming you have a data plan) there should be a default app just called "Browser" or "Blackberry Browser", I think....Not really sure what the layout on yours would be, sorry
