Obviously what TimeCruiserMike posted above goes without saying for things like beer. The other variety of beverage(aka hard stuff), just premix your drink of choice into a inconspicuous container before you board and you're set.

I realize I'm totally last-minute and all, but is there a way I could get on the shirt list? I need an XL, and have no problem fumbling with quarters on a moving train...

I'm not a fan of the Light Steel color, and I think the white X might not be strongly visible. I'll buy a men's shirt if the base color is Sand or Smoke Grey. (I think the current design with the combination of black and white would stand out best on Sand, since it's a medium tone.) I believe I'd be men's size small, but a size chart would be handy.
