I need a good spot to go on vacation

I'ma take a week off pretty soon. I am thinking I want to go somewhere I can climb mountains, observe wildlife, and generally tell humanity to fuck off. I'm in western Massachusetts and I need to be able to drive there for fiscal reasons. I can't go to New Hampshire, though I'll not bother you with reasons why. Where aboots should I take myself to get away from all you internet perverts?

    You can drive to Alaska, but I would suggest flying.

    When you can... the Volcano has pretty much closed the airport, but it's ok. There's no better place for what you're looking for.

    Western Mass is pretty serene.

    If you can find somebody that has a family house of some sort on the cape that would be a great bet if you can wait at least a few weeks.
