So I was just reading my psych textbook and it was talking about asian cultures in general tend to appreciate collectivism over individualism like America. So this got me thinking about things like why RPGs are way popular over there where you fight and save the world as a party. While here in America people prefer to save the world one man guns blazing.

But then this made me think. What about Pokemon? Does this blur those psychological personality barriers? You fight with a team of pokemon which the Asians would be down with but it also has a strong focus on being the very best (like no one ever was) which would appeal strongly to an American individualistic culture

Which brings me back to Pokemon is the greatest invention of the past century no doubt
