Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given

What if someone said "Fuck Bioshock" as they gave you a left hook to the face?

Well that makes me want to revisit Rapture.
But I can't be assed to play it becuase it does not engage me with it's gameplay.

That's cool, some games just don't engage certain people. Sucks though, because many times I'm just left wondering what everyone else sees in certain games.

I guess its a pretty common complaint that I just never understood. I loved scrounging for ammo, listening to tape recordings, the set ups for boss battles and gunfights were excellent (frozen dudes in a meat locker being one of my favourites). In terms of shooting the variety offered was brilliant, the enemies were fun and satisfying to fight. It is just beyond me when people complain about the core gameplay being boring.
What did you really want from the game? I mean it was primarily about exploring environments. If Bioshock bores you then I imagine you just dont like a lot of singeplayer FPS games? Im not trying to be presumptuous im just trying to figure the opinion out.
i'm just gonna start from the beginning
The last two levels are pretty shitty anyway, well I liked the apartments and the traffic tunnels, they were awesome.
But the ARG, if it is a proper one, at http://www.somethinginthesea.com has really taken off, and I've been exploring the new stuff, but I haven't gotten very far
Anyone else been keeping up with it and have any theories about what we're going to see in the new game?

If I had a niece or daughter around that age and lived in Australia I would be like "We're going to the beach right now. NO I don't give a fuck if winx club or whatever the shit is coming on get your stuff we're leaving."
Good thing I don't because that'd be pretty terrible of me!
