Gundam Seed is as horrible as everyone has said so far, but if you don't mind reading, the Gundam Seed Astray manga is everything a show about giant robots should be.
Seed wasn't so bad. I loved the hell out of the Strike.
Going at it's first enemy with Gundam-sized combat knives was awesome in my book and the backpack-system made it even better. Probably my favorite Gundam on looks alone, without watching the series it was in, would be this bad boy.

Also, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam was pretty good. It was frustrating as hell, fighting the same handful of gundams over and over and over again at times (Haman Karn and the Purus in their Qubeleys and Scrirocco in The O for the most part), but as long as you find a Gundam you like and a level you like, you're set for some Giant robot fun.
A Mobile Armor with a Gundam at the core. The boxes contain hold its main payload of missiles, capitol-grade demolition chain, and a variety of hand held beam weapons. Combine that with a capitol-grade beam cannon, pincers with with beam sabers and a deflection system that renders most Mobile Suit weapons useless, you'd need nothing short of another Mobile Armor to kill it.
So what happened if the Neo-Dike Gundam fails? Is that Windmill Gundam's one weakness?
Or is Neo Holland saved by the Shining Finger which plugs the hole?

Its one weakness was that its pilot was inexperienced due to having waited out the whole first half of the Gundam Fight. The Nether Gundam had like 12 beam cannons on its body as well as the ability to create cyclones with its windmill parts.

"We're not part of their world anymore boys."
Those are actual, non parodied lines.
Then master asia starts "talking with his fists." That is what he calls it. He and Domon have a conversation of punches because they can't communicate.

G Gundam is a fucking martial arts melodrama, of course it's going to be ridiculous. You act as though it's not completely aware of this fact, which is a foolish and blatantly incorrect assumption.
