    Apparently not.

I checked out a few gameplay videos and it looks a little bit different from the first. Biggest thing I noticed was that you can move a lot faster, which is a godsend.

I will never get tired of the Dynasty Warriors formula of killing lots and lots of dudes (or in this case giant robots) so I'll probably pick it up when it's cheaper.

Well, it could have worked really well, but for some reason Sega couldn't figure out a way to both move and rotate a character in a 3D shooting game.

Of course now that I think about it, I remembered that the DC only had one analog stick.

    yeah

gundam vs. gundam is traditionally played on arcades, so it's built around one stick and 4 buttons

which is why its been ported to the psp in japan

After watching for some forty plus episodes, the gundam moment that moved me the most was in G Gundam 45th episode, at the end of the Gundam Fight Tournament. Domon had just defeated Master Asia, and it was Master Asia's last, dying breaths. I remember literally being moved to tears at the pure emotion (say what you want about the dub) of the scene. After watching the show for weeks and growing attached to the characters, seeing Master Asia die like that...well, I'll just let you watch the clip and decide for yourself.

    Master Asia's Final Breath

And for those Japanese only purest who insist on the Japanese version, I've attached the original as well.

Yeah, the biggest problem with the series (beyond all the extraneous episodes) is how the last four episodes pale compared to the arc before them.

Yes. I am not ashamed to admit that I cried when Master Asia died. They were manly tears of manliness.

Manly tears are when you get gunpowder or sawdust in your eyes.

Or when you realize that there's no more enemies left to kill.

I went to school with this girl who was way into Gundam Wing fan fiction, especially Quatre slash (usually Duo, but she liked to think of him as rather promiscuous). She also had a strange obsession with straight Chang ships, but only so long as he was an abusive misogynist.

She would frequently confuse "murder" and "sex" in every day conversation. I never did figure out what that was all about.

My feelings on Gundam Wing are very conflicted, because on the one hand most of the pilots were notorious pretty-boys and they seem to be much more prone to slash fiction than characters from other Gundam series

but on the other hand there were some seriously badass things that were done during that show

Gundam Wing seems really cool when you are ten years old and it seems really hardcore and deep

And then you get older and you realize it was, by and large, incredibly gay

    I mean that literally

Also the story is retarded and half the shit in it makes no sense and the cooler robots don't get enough screentime

I remember one mission in Mechwarrior 3 that involved dealing with a Shadowcat Mech that you could salvage if you were careful. At least I think it was a Shadowcat, although the important thing was how many weapons that bastard had. It had like ten lasers and was completely awesome. I'd aim at something important and fire everything at once. Doing tnhis overheated the mech and forced it to shut down for a few seconds, but it was so powerful you'd usually cripple or destroy a target before they could do anything permanent to you.

    Nova Cat?

Sounds more like a Nova (or Black Hawk to all the Inner Sphere scum out there). It packs 10 Clan ER Medium Lasers and is around the same tonnage as a Shadow Cat.

Anyone interested in playing an online version of the BattleTech board game should check out Megamek
I love playing the board game, but its hard finding people that play it, let alone invest their own money into it.
