I just did one and the only ones I didn't get were madagascar and for some reason two south american countries

it basically exploded across the world in a single day and then slowly murdered everyone but those three countries, they didn't even finish a vaccine

The trick is to not make it visible at all. Until you're in the majority of the countries, you should only have one symptom. Get all the transmission factors first (Insect, Rodent, Waterborne, and Airborne), and then once you have a good infection base, get moisture resistance II. You start infecting water supplies and shit quickly escalates.

Even then, Madagascar is still a crapshoot. I've only gotten it once, and that was the first game I played, where I didn't get like half the world.

I was doing well with a virus that had no visibility and had spread from Indonesia to many other nations and I had all the disease vectors purchased (rats, water, insects, airborne) and thought I was doing well when out of the blue the U.S. closes it's borders, airports, and docks.
