Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
I need to pick up a reliable Wireless-N router with good range. This is for a large home that has consistent issues with Wireless-G. This is for general laptop usage. Remote connectivity to the office, email, web browsing. Little to no multimedia.
The D-Links seem to get decent reviews on Newegg. Anyone using one of those? Here is a Draft 2 Dual-Band I was considering.
Mistake #1, IMO. I've had nothing but trouble with this brand. My apartment's current D-Link sucks hard (it's not mine). I'm CONSIDERING buying this to solve my issues with trying to get solid internet down to the home theater gaming setup I have in the basement, but the D-Link part of it is giving me pause.
I've never had problems with Linksys. Of course there are plenty of people on this board that hate it unless you put that custom-made firmware on it. So I guess YMMV, but I would vote for that WRT-150N exoplasm recommended, and you can put DD-WRT if you so desire.
