    I know MissDizzyBee connects quite often from her Blackberry, though I'm not sure who she has service through.

    I know quite a few people who irc from their blackberry. I will inquire with them what program they use.

    I also know a few just ssh from a blackberry into a shell account, another option to consider.

    Yeah, I used jmirc when on Blackberry. The best BB SSH program was still pretty bad at handling screen or irssi (due to poor term emulation), so I never had much luck with that.

    However, ConnectBot for Android is the bee's knees for SSHing to my IRC boxes.

    you have been on the access list for a while. You need to identify with nickserv to be voiced.

    What am I missing here? I registered my nick (stratos75), yet every time I attempt to chat I need to be voiced. I mostly just lurk but once in a while I like to contribute.

    Hmm. Are you identifying yourself to nickserv?

    Once you register, every time you connect to the slashnet server you'll have to do a /msg nickserv yourusername yourpassword in order for you to be voiced.

    Either that, or you haven't been added to the access list yet? Seems a bit strange though that you wouldn't be added.

    Hes been added, you need to identify with nickserv once you connect. once you login with nickserv you get autovoiced

    /msg nickserv identify password

    It will send you a new auth code if you forgot your password

    You should probably set it to something you wont forget...
