S60 Phones, Nokia E63 question
Hi All,
I just bought a Nokia phone off Amazon last night. I'll hopefully get it this week, but I have just one quick question I haven't been able to find an answer to.
The phone uses S60, which I'm looking forward to as my current phone is a Nokia with S40, and the additional functionality and apps will be welcome. What I'm concerned about is automatic data usage.
I do not have a data plan, and will not be getting one. I pay $40 for whatever the lowest phone service from ATT is. I will want to use the WiFi on the phone though, at work and at home, and whenever I'm able to when I'm out. I'm concerned about the phone automatically trying to access data over 3G with email clients and such. Since I don't have the phone yet I can't play around with it and try to figure it out myself, and this question is killing me.
Can I set the phone to use email, web and everything ONLY when I'm on WiFi, and to never ever, EVER touch the AT&T 3G network for data?
