But they stumble upon the butt by accident. Now, it wasn't what they were looking for, but the bacteria in the butt have lots of... goods and resources... that the SotB bacteria want. So, having superior weaponry and infectious diseases, they all but annihilate the butt bacteria, settle there, and begin a steady shipping route back and forth between the butt and their homeland.
