I know this because I picked one up last christmas for a firefight in the yard and the bastard kept locking up on me, took forever to reload, and was generally expensive.
Always go with the small to medium guns.

Also Ghost Dog is a great movie, for people with great taste.
And I just shaved my head and beard. I feel weeeeiird.
I was completely blind for a good minute or two.
Gibs if you go to St. Catharines you can pick up my huge sniper rifle one. I forget what it's called. Apparently you can mod it for crazy power.
I remember that! It was called the secret shot or something.

Also yeah you could probably go ride around on the halftrack and play with the gun. The .50 cal is finally on it with the rail skate thing.
I missed every time with the secret shot

the doodle thread
fortunately no one's been such egregious an asshole that it won't blow over soon
uh
except for the real serious arguments
I guess
edit: damn.
Did you feel good when you won the AC challenge?
One of my friends took his farshot sniper rifle and replaced the default spring with an industrial one, sealed up the barrel to make it more airtight and reinforced the bar that you use to cock it so it wouldn't rip itself apart. Then he took his ammunition and removed the suction tips and glued copper BB's inside the foam tube near the tip and capped it off with a round plastic nose for each one. Basically it was goddamn terrifying. I saw the thing break a window once. We banned him from even having the thing loaded in the same room as us.
Anywho, to bring up everyone's favorite subject-- today I registered for classes and I am sort of mortified. I am excited to see what "art school" is like and finally maybe have some artist friends in real life. I am way more afraid that I'm going to be surrounded by peers who suck balls and will cry when I give them critique, get stuck with inept teachers, and basically realize every horror story I've ever heard about art schools though.
At least they gave me a lot of money, so I'm not at any real financial danger if I decide to pull out after the first year. I'm firmly thinking of it as kind of a "trial" for the moment.
I don't know what the fuck I'm gonna do if this isn't my cup of tea though D:

One thing that your probably doing, is that you still draw utilizing symbols, much like you and everyone else did as a kid. Albiet more complex and well placed symbols. The difference being that you've replaced the football eyes and round head for more realistic features but they are still laid down without fundamentally understanding them.
The reason you can't place the 3d structure of an object is because you never learned to construct the object in 3d. You repeat what has worked well for you in the past because you adopt the imagery symbols that work and discard the ones that don't but you're not actively building your understanding of what you draw.
I've gone through the same thing, because I drew a lot when I was younger, I had classes, drew from life etc etc. Then I went for so long just drawing from memory and imitating forms that I realized I essentially need to completely relearn how to draw, to draw what I see and to stop placing things where I think they look right because I've done it before and actually learn how to construct the forms.
Also do what Bacon suggested and just do it, because you can't just assimilate this knowledge by desiring it to happen or waiting for the perfect moment. I am a terrible example because I've been lamenting my lack of drawing for years but I've never bothered trying to fix it until just recently.
