So i found a wierd bug.

I have FOOK installed, as well as the 'additional power armor training.esp' file.

Igot my power armor training through OA, but when i try to equip a minigun, i get the message 'you must be wearing power armor to equip this', even when i am wearing power armor

Looks like ima have to go through the main quest as well damnit.

That bug doesn't go away even when you do the main quest, I had it. I had Weapon Mod Kits on though, so the following link might not be as useful as I hope it will be:

Well I played through Op:Anch last night and enjoyed it. I don't know what is wrong with you dicks. I guess I knew going in that it was going to be a linear combat deal so i can understand if you downloaded it without knowing that in advanced you'd be thinking 'eww, who got Medal of Honour in my Fallout?' But I had a blast and got some neat toys and perks, plus I enjoyed the change of pace and not having to worry that unless I dig around in every single nook and cranny I might miss something.

Also I leveled up three fucking times, from 16 to 19. Chinese Soldiers are like XP pinatas. If the reds ever do invade America, I don't think you guys have anything to worry about. Five minutes into the first wave, your entire armed forces are going to have leveled up to be as powerful as Gods. The only problem is post-war you're going to have a lot of ex-vets capable of making people heads explode just by thinking about it.

Bring on Mothership Zeta. I figure if I play them in reverse order of forum boner rating, from limp dick to furious erection things can only get better and better.

i liked anchorage. it's just that all the other ones are better.

I actually have WMK imstalled as well, so this is pretty handy; i didn't know the two had compatibility issues. Thanks.

I want to play again, but unsure what kind of character to make.

A neutral gunslinger that uses one handed guns only?

Or an evil brute that blows doors down with heavy weapons?

I managed to stay neutral all the way to level 16 and then suddenly, bam good karma. Must've been finally finding a good home for that kid I saved in Those! when I was level 3 or the fingers I was handing in to the regulators I guess.

So now I've started randomly shooting people in the face to balance it back out again. Saved some lady from a radscorpion attack last night and after she got done thanking me, point blank right in the face. Scored a pair of motorcycle goggles off her as well.

That's how us neutral karma folks roll. Cleaning up the wastes of scum, finding homes for lost children and occasionally randomly murder someone for no reason.

one handed guns kind of suck... until you get the blackhawk i guess.

i had a lot of fun with unarmed. it just feels good to punch something huge a couple times and make it go flying.

I've really neglected explosives. I might start boosting them on the way to level 30. I tossed a few grenades around in Anchorage and liked the way it felt.

As in, I liked the way it felt to watch Chinese soldiers ragdolling an arc across the sky as their limbs detached from their bodies.

I found that the more I put into explosives the less able I was to get out of the blast radius when I pickpocketed grenades into people's trousers.

Was there any compatability issues between FOOK, WMK and Mothership Zeta, btw? I don't want to get it until I know I can bring my M4 aboard, even if I stop using it 5 minutes in.

I have all the good karma ones, but I guess killing alien workers lowered it enough to be neutral when I hit thirty this time (the file I was at 30 on was only autosaved and I didn't realize it, so my highest dude was 28) (and then my autosave that had almost beaten Zeta got overwritten too)

Big Guns are fucking awesome but honestly you have to cheat to use them... very much... or like, at all.. (use console to give yourself ammo).
