I'm playing drunken black light putt putt golf with a couple other forumers and the missus, but otherwise I'd probably be all up ins. Never get to socialize with you classy fellows enough.

I was completely ignoring my cities once I geared up for war production. Just forges and then pumping out as much military in every city as I could. I think my army would have rivaled meta's.
I just love how you were all "oh shit uh bibble is thinking about attacking you" while I had half my army ready. I just laughed.
It was even better when he freaked out at Jasc's stack, without even seeing that he had two more, even bigger than that coming.
edit: I actually greatly prefer to play peaceful games. Having a few solid allies, being able to trust them. I offered that to bibble at the start. I was like "hey, well since we are so close, we should have an alliance, share techs and that kind of thing".. because if two civs are freely trading techs, they can accomplish so much more. Well he was waffling about it. And then he decided it would be smart to actually sabotage my cities for some reason. And then he thought it would be even smarter to keep sending a lot of spies, leading me to have no doubt that they had to be coming from someplace close.
I'd play but I just spent 3 hours on a Noble difficulty single player game, working my ass off... find the other continent, where everyone somehow has double my socre and is researching Liberalism while I don't even have Gunpowder.
Plus my continent buddy was Saladin who instead of researching shit just builds massive amounts of defenses. So I couldn't even tech swap with him despite being Friendly.
The Noble AI cheats pretty blatantly, I find.
I wish there was something between Noble and Warlord.
Regular games don't really get space aged. You only see that in the Scenarios.
The highest you get is standard stealth/mechanized stuff. Present day tech.
This is kind of what I don't like about regular games. So much cool shit you never get to.
What's the maximum number of players in Civ 4 anyway? 16? Also how big was the map you guys played on?
Seven of us, and huge. I don't remember the max, it is either 16 or 12. I think it is 16 for the biggest map size.
5 of us were on one continent and 2 were on another. Although everybody thought they were on their own little island until we sent out explorers and eventually found each other several hundred years later.
