Six members of London's metropolitan police force are the focus of a criminal investigation after a corruption probe revealed allegations by a serving officer that detectives waterboarded suspects allegedly caught with a "large amount" of marijuana...

"[British] papers gave varying accounts of the exact technique used by police, with the Times saying that officers poured water on a cloth and placed it over a suspect's face to simulate the experience of drowning," reported the Associated Press. "The Daily Mail said police officers repeatedly dunked the suspects' heads in buckets of water. The reason for the discrepancy was not immediately clear."

    My fellow gamers,
Effective Sunday, June 28, The Nexus will be closed permanently. Feel free to use up any and all remaining credit on your game card until then.
It will be a sad day so to do our best to keep our spirits raised, we will be opening the facility up for free gaming on Sunday from open until we close that night for good. It has been a heck of a ride and from all of us here at The Nexus, we wish you well in your future.

Well, he did the dream stuff in Spellbound. And he wrote Un chien andalou.

There's also Destino, the much-delayed posthumous Disney-Dalí collaboration.

And then you could go into a bunch of surrealist directors like Buñuel. I like The Phantom of Liberty.

An August 2008 Disney press release stated Destino is now due for a 2010 DVD release and "will be available to own for the first time along with an all-new feature-length documentary that examines the surprising partnership between Dali and Disney."
It is taking them a looooong time to release this. Balls.

Yes. You're supposed to be able to get your travel power by level five which, ingeniously, is when the tutorial level is over.

Pony still has spots left on the guild beta application.

Wow, the iPhone is a pretty good music player. It actually sounds better without the equalizer than my iRiver Clix did. And you can turn off the screen and use the volume up/down to control the music instead of the ringtone.
