I can't help but notice the most recent version of the iOS app is a bit....off?

All of my issues have been with HD comics, namely a bit of lag when I turn pages, frequent crashes, and a handful of two page spreads that zoom in on some random spot and are entirely unreadable. Good thing its all at a higher resolution now and looks....exactly the same, except now it doesn't entirely work.

I haven't been having those issues, but I'm on an iPhone (same app though it's universal), you wouldn't notice too much of a difference for CMX-HD unless you have a new iPad. On the other side for all the issues is to email them at info@comixology.com

I am on the new iPad, but thanks for the email address. I was happy to shrug the instabilities off, but not being able to read some pages is a lot more problematic.

Anyone having trouble buying from comixology today? I'm trying to get the last issue of the Avengers movie prequel comic and I can get up to the final "puchase comic" screen but it never finishes loading the next page, never charged me and never puts the comic into my account.

I feel like Comixology's servers and tech are getting a lot more work than they anticipated. They definitely need to increase their servers.

I'm gonna have to take back some of my issues with the HD jump. I'm still getting some broken pages, which is pretty annoying. It happened again today with the AvsX free promo. I didn't notice much of a jump in quality, but that's from me never touching the guided view. Its a night and day difference when using it.

I just got the first Infinite issue and finished reading it. I really like the style Marvel's trying out for these purely digital comics. And man, Immonen's art was as good as ever.

Not only that, but the new Nova wasn't nearly as infuriating as in Point One. Hooray for Mark Waid!

huh. maybe it doesnt matter. the free one in the back of AvX doesnt work right. it does standard page turns. the single one actually works right and is a COMPLETELY different experience. Holy SHIT.

I bought Infinite last night and redeemed the AvX 1 code earlier today. Checking out Infinite 1 attached to the digital AvX 1 and...it's working exactly the same.

I -NEVER- use guided view, so that would explain it. It automatically goes into it with the other version.

Either way, Infinite was awesome. cant wait to see what else they do with it.

For the people having trouble with Marvel's Webstore, they have a new one http://comicstore.marvel.com/ , which is based off of Comixology's current setup, so should make it a lot easier.

Still won't give you the couple of free ones they do every week though
