Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
So I work at a place that deals with alot of car audio and we need some music with lots of bass to test amps and subs. So Im looking for suggestions to fill a cd up with any suggestions are welcome.
If you want some old-school repetition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcQlui57xJc
Some other Super Adventure Island ones may be decent, too. Though there are different names for the tracks which could cause issues finding them.
How strict are you on your definition? Beatmania/DDR would be great sources...

While I'm linking the original, I do so recommending you find whatever remixes of this you can because there's some good ones out there. If you can, find the one off the Relics of the Chozo album. It's fuckin' BANGIN'. Edit - Oh look a torrent for it linked to on this page (it's free, nobody trip about zomgtheft).
As previously mentioned, the Halo soundtracks have some good shit on them. I'd have to burn them to a CD and take them out to my car to see just how bassy they are though, since I don't have a woofer on my office laptop. 2 12's in the truck though weeeeee! <3 bass.
You'll find lots of bass heavy rock & techno VG remixes here. Last I checked, they were all free, though it's been a while since I downloaded anything from there.
Lemmings was pro-Communist propeganda. All are created equal, sorted into specific jobs and roles that they will hold for the rest of their lives by a higher authority, and must sacrifice continuously for the good of the group. Success is measured by meeting quotas and nothing else. Also, nuclear holocaust.
If you're looking for some 8-bit stuff that's real bassy, a lot of games that Naoki Kodaka composed are the the way to go. He uses the triangle and noise channels for drums instead of bass, and uses the sample channel for real deep bass tones. It's most apparent in Gimmick!, Journey to Silius, Batman: Return of the Joker, and Super Spy Hunter. Typically having a bassline this deep on the NES would come across as more of a hum.

Shoot, you can probably use the whole OST.
If you want to count Beatmania, that'll open a flood gate.
You most likely want TaQ's music.

This track always reminds me of Soul Coughing circa Irresistible Bliss. I have a profound love of standup bass tracks.
Once in a blue moon they'll license stuff from Avex or House Nation(recently), but that's rare.

Boss themes, Bloody Tears, and more. I almost forgot how awesome this soundtrack is! Maybe not super bassy, but sexy stuff all around.
Excellent track, thanks for showing this.
