Help installing IDE DVD-RW unit

Hi. I have a problem with a DVD-RW CD-RW unit Pioneer DVR-111D. I installed it in my new pc, but Windows XP doesn´t recognize it as a DVD/CD burner. The unit read CD and DVD (but without Autorun).
My previous equip (where the DVR was installed) has only IDE. My new PC has SATA and IDE (board asus M3N78). The HDD is SATA.
