I just started up Star Ocean Second Evolution to continue to play. For some reason the screen where you pick between new game and load game has the words "Please choose the New Game" flashing and when I do, I can now pick the difficulty level. Also new game now has a star beside it. Is it because 3 of my characters are level 45 and the 4th is level 44 before I even take part in the Armory Contest (which isn't far into the game) and the game thinks I'm finding the game a bit easy (which I do, because I grinded)?
