PS3 back-up help [Solved - Lock please]

ok, the king of stupid questions has returned...

when selecting the backup utility for the PS3, the screen mentions that trophies will not be backed up.

does this mean that I will lose my trophies when I put my new HD in? or Does it mean that I'll just jave to do some sort of re-syncing?

I'm sure somebody knows the answer to this. Thanks!

    Here you go
    You cannot back up your trophy information using the backup utility feature. If you want to save trophy information, it is recommended that you create a PlayStation®Network account and save the information on the PlayStation®Network server. To back up your trophy information on the PlayStation®Network server, select (Game) > (Trophy Collection), press the button, and then select [Sync with Server] from the options menu.
