Servers


How to add a server:
Before you start TF2, right click Steam in your toolbar and click on Servers. Go to the Favorites tab, click Add a Server, and type in the IP. Next time you launch TF2, go to the Favorites tab and select one of the servers that has people in it, type in the password (wang), and you should be good to go. Also make sure "Show map list" is unchecked in the bottom left. It makes finding servers stupid as hell.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There is no real PA TF2 Steam Group. The HoNC has a Honc Night group that occasionally announces a custom map night, but that's about it. To get involved and meet people post here and add the servers to your favorites and hop on.

    Unrelatedly, I got the FaN earlier and when I use it I actually feel as though I'm doing some good as a scout. Must be because when I miss all the shots in the clip it's only 2 instead of six in a row.

    Fuck steam/tf2 updates. I keep getting the server found consistency problems with water_dx80.pcf. The last time this happened I had to delete and reinstall the game. That was a month ago. I tried doing the game cache verify and that didn't work. Looks like its time for another delete - reinstall :x

    It means you're trying to play on servers that haven't updated yet.

    It's supposed to be the announcer in the game, somebody did a fan illustration of her and that's roughly what she looked like.
