It kind of sucks that The Cleveland Show was already renewed for a second season before the first episode even aired. They showed stuff from the first couple episodes at comic-con and it was just painfully bad. They kept going on about how the great thing about Cleveland is that he isn't a one-note character like Joe or Quagmire, so he could be able to handle different situations; the problem is that Cleveland is a zero-note character. I hate him and will never forgive this show for replacing King of the Hill

I'm going back to my spapeggy and meatballs now

Hey guys, oh man, Heroes is so edgy and hip. They were playing Guitar Hero 3!

Heroes was so good season one. Then I just lost all interest about 8 episodes into season 2 and then it just looked terrible.

Also I wanted to like How I met your mother, I love NPH, but the writing really does suck sometimes.

    but

    Heroes is universally terrible

HIMYM may have had a few flat episodes but for the most part the writing is clever and funny. What sitcom doesn't have flat episodes?

    Okay except Arrested Development.

The Robin Sparkles episode alone was genius. HYMYM is allowed a few duds.

And yeah, I thought the whole thing about Cleveland was that he was an incredibly boring character.

yeah, I've never gotten all the love for HIMYM

it's no better or worse than Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, that Julia Louis-Dreyfus show, whatever

it's all set-up, wisecrack, punchline. wash, rinse, repeat.

Yep. They were picked up for a second season earlier in the year. It's ass-backwards, but so many things about fox are that way. When Family Guy was renewed they did that joke where Peter listed EVERY SERIES that started and was cancelled before they got picked up again, and then they were able to make the same damn joke last season where they listed all the shitty shows that started and ended since they got back. Hearing it all at once is pretty telling

I concur. That is a pretty serious insult.

I'd like the show even if I didn't think NPH was so dreamy.

Two and a half men is the kind of program that makes me want to write a letter to the network asking why they hate America. And apparently one of the guys from that show won an Emmy the other day so what the fuck? Are people that terrible that they would watch this show?

I never thought Alyson Hannigan would be my least favorite character in a show, but so far, that's the case.

my theory is that considering the other nominees were NPH, Tracy Morgan, and Jack McBrayer, the intelligent vote was too split for any of them to win
