My friend has a cat that tears up when they feed it spam, and only spam. It doesn't go ape shit for tuna or other stuff, but she gets all excited when she's about to be fed spam.
My dog max used to howl a lot like Monty. He was a schnauzer/smallish-terrier mix. Scruffy looking, but super expressive face. My dad could get him to howl similar notes as my dad sang/howled, so he could get him to howl Mary Had a Little Lamb. I could get him to howl with me, but he wouldn't follow me as well (so we just did it to annoy my step-sister).
When he got the diabeetus and went blind (my step mom noticed it when he walked off a pier one day!), he'd still run around and play fetch, and on walks, we'd tell him "Step up" at curbs, and he'd start doing this crazy front leg high-stepping walk to step up onto the curb.

Dogs are omnivorous, so they'll eat a variety of fruits and veggies if you'll let them.
You shouldn't let them have a lot of that stuff, though, unless you know how to balance their diet around it.
Otherwise they can get stomach problems.
