Nope, he's always been about the tech and was revealed as (at least in that instance) as a robot the last time he and spider-man fought(last arc before DoSM)

Anything that causes a crater that big should really have obliterated the city around it

I mean, those buildings shouldn't really be standing

but I generally don't give a fuck about physical realism in my media so no worries

Finally got around to reading Death of Spider-man in trade. Loved it, and felt really sad at the end. Its just too bad that Normon Osborn got the last laugh (last 3 panels show him smiling).
