Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

I had to try 17 times but I finally got it to submit. Maybe just keep going?
E: Or am I just an idiot that couldn't grasp what they meant when they used the word "snapshot?"
Are those not available for download? Or do you just have everything but those?
I have them, but cna't find the keys.
IIRC Diablo 1 didn't have a CD key, did it? And I just tried my WC2 key and the site said it was invalid, so I guess they're not going back that far.
Edit - B.Net isn't hosed, I just did it.

I literally just signed up a minute ago so battle.net is working fine for me.
Yessir.

You don't have permission to access / on this server.
That just redirects you to www.battle.net unless I am missing something.
Guess I should check.
Oh, it's a new deal.
How does it know to connect the program you download to your account? What magic is going on there?
Also, I registered my BattleChest version of Diablo 2. It didn't pick it up as the battle chest however, it just gave me diablo 2 and LOD. If you register the battlechest do you get Diablo 1?
Thanks for this suggestion, it worked right away once I closed gtalk.
At least I registered practically every other Blizzard PC game with a CD Key (Except Warcraft 2 Bnet edition).
I have had decent luck with betas lately but I'm hoping that luck hasn't worn out yet.
Of course they do, the maximum graphics settings need to be tested too. I have the same specs, except with a slightly larger hard disc.
I find it odd that this thing doesn't mention the number of cores. Isn't that a somewhat important thing these days?
I actually just want to see what a blizzard game that isn't an mmo looks like nowadays.
It's been so long.
Sweet. Guess no beta for me.
You're in shock.
I almost had a stroke when I saw the thread.
This neo-feudalism would be more tolerable if our betters had fancy titles.
Brood War didn't have a CD-key - if you register your Starcraft CD-key, you get Brood War for free.
Ah.
I guess this really shows how long it's been since I played Starcraft!

Really? Could've been useful back then to encourage friends to play the game with me. I always presumed that the server would check both keys when connecting.
That said, I'll be doing this when I get home. Wooo.
Yeah it does just set up a compatibility mode in the shortcut
Y'know I noticed this I was like "WTF I never bought Brood War".
Though for whatever reason I have no desire to beta test this game at all.
My guess is extremely low unless one/several/all of the following is true
1. you've been in a blizzard beta before
2. you own most/all of the blizzard games applicable to the bnet account thingy
3. your computer is at the outer limit of either the game's minimum settings (so it's really crappy but will run it just barely or is amazingly top-end)
4. you're a starcraft e-celeb
not that it's impossible if you're not one of those things, something just tells me they're more likely to pick people from one of the above categories.
Well 2 and 3 count for me. I have every blizzard game thats possible to register, and I am probably on the lower end of the minimum settings.
Woot!
