I arrogantly suggest neither of those options: DS9.
Man, later.
I'm already knee-deep in shows I need to be watching (BSG, Psych, House) and it's gonna be worse when the seasons that are ending right now hit DVD soon (The Office, 30 Rock, Big Bang Theory).

And after that I have a list of reading material for you.
I am glad my Trek fandom pretty much ends at TOS and the original six films, because if I had to pick up the two million seasons of TNG on Blu-Ray I would cut my dick off.

It is going to be a very busy summer young man.
I suggest this be added to the curriculum.
And this if he can find it.
are those books that good? I'm craving for some great sci-fi reading, and if it's great star trek, the better
edit: also, the imdb rating is a bit scary.. it keeps getting higher and higher
I am even now drafting a just simply huge post to tell you why you're wrong, I would appreciate it if you left the point alone until I have properly articulated and posted the thing.

'Prime Directive' was one of the inspirations for the new movie's plot if that's a good enough recommendation besides my own.
As for the Vanguard series, it's pretty sweet so far with the fourth book released recentlly. Think DS9 with more Section 31-like cloak-n-dagger business going on in the background with a three-way struggle going on between Starfleet, the Klingons and the Tholians over bizzare stuff found in the region of space Vanguard's located at. Some of the good stuff includes...
...the chief UFP ambassador on the station and which happens to look a lot like Zorak from 'Space Ghost', a Vulcan officer who's suffering from an unusual but familiar mental affliction due to a Pon-Farr gone wrong, a reporter with a small tie to DS9 who's life is purposefully wrecked by Vanguard's top officers to hide what's going on, and a whole planet getting glassed over by a Starfleet ship with Federation colonists STILL on it.

I need to do it again and get better seats
It was so good actually that it has inspired me to pick up a Star Trek series, which has yet to be determined (either TOS or TNG).
Seriously this is how I'm spending Wednesday right here
here's a hint: videogamecharacternumbername
aw, sheet
everything's so bright and shiny and detailed that watching it on a 100' screen just enhances the experience instead of making it overwhelming
DS9
edit: also the best part was the
Some people will tell you TNG
Those people? Faggots
Picard all talking out problems
Kirk just fucking beats up aliens and bangs green chicks
Man, later.

Oh man... I totally did not catch that reference while watching it.
No not really.
Kirk had so many space STDs that the wart on his dick split off and became Chekhov.

Fucking hell.
therefore, TOS for free on the Xbox 360 urrrgghhh
i have seen it twice now in 48 hours
Not surprising considering that you live in Hell and demons do not deserve to see TOS for free.

Books.
Also this film was fantastic.
Ya
I'll go now to vent and shove some red hot pokers up Jerry Falwell's arse.
I suggest this be added to the curriculum.
And this if he can find it.
Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)

Dude, The Dark Knight was the #1 movie of all-time on the IMDb rankings for a while, and even now it's in the top 10.
Don't take those idiots seriously.
