Sergio is gone? I thought the Blazers were trying to package him and Outlaw to the Knicks for David Lee? Still a possibility.

Fran Fraschilla strikes me as the only person who has seen any of these players play outside of March Madness. You can see the "Who?" flashing behind their eyes any time a non-NCAA player comes up.

Sergio, #38, and cash went to SAC for the #31 pick.

hat you looked up to when you were a kid dreaming of being in the NBA?

    Brandon Jennings: Allen Iverson.

lol what's the bet this is the answer to half of these questions from now on?

I think Fran's also a lil bit bitter. He made a comment about how European players are much more mature, thankful and grateful than the spoiled American High School kids.

Uh, Hello McFly! Last time I checked, its America, land of "AMERICA FUCK YEAAAAHHH". Of course the standard of living for American High School Kids is greater of that than Spain. Yes, they are going to be MORE PAMPERED than kids in Spain. Its two thousand and fucking nine!!! God what a fucktard.

European players are payed professionals, they have more money than the college and high school kids from America.

Maybe European players are tempered by how not famous they are back home? Or maybe the US kids are mostly from poor neighborhoods, and the shock of suddenly being rich causes a number of bad decisions.

Also, why the hell can't Stern have somebody intelligent tell him how to pronounce all these names before he goes up there? I mean, he's on national TV.

Thats an excellent point. I know if I grew up dirt poor and all of a sudden had that much cash at 17/18 years old, I would'nt know what to do with myself.

Its just that Fran came off like an ass in that interview from ESPNNews earlier today.

Shaq needs to slow down between sentences.
What he meant: I am sad about Michael Jackson dying. Congrats to the kids who got drafted.
What came out: Michael Jackson was a legend. Congratulations to the kids and their families.

  • TicaldfjamTicaldfjam Registered User regular
Shaq just needs to sit down and take a glass of SIT DOWN AND SHUT THE FUCK UP juice.

I would'nt say that to his face though. He almost murdered someone during a Punk'd episode.

And I though Marc Cuban could'nt do any worse. "HAI GUYZ in OKC, I WANTZ THAT FRENCH GUY".

I was just shaking my head on that one. WTF, Blair is he too "fat" for teams taste? Do they think he's going to be another Oliver Miller?

What's the success rate on European draftees? Whenever I see the list of previous year's draft picks for each team, I've rarely recognized many of the Europeans.

If Blanka receives any nerfs in 2013, and I mean any, I will eat a box of cocks and change characters forever.

Supposedly Blair has ACL issues. Not sure how reliable those rumors are, last year there were fake rumors that Darrell Arthur had kidney problems.

Still, Gibson? Even as a Trojan I wouldn't have made that pick. Maybe they're not sold on Tyrus Thomas.

For all the fapping for Euro players, Argentinans are the BEST foreign players that can adapt to the NBA. Ginobli, Oberto, Scolia, Nocioni come to mind. They can play BOTH offense and defense and are'nt afraid of the NBA players.

  • TicaldfjamTicaldfjam Registered User regular
IF Blair does'nt get drafted he should not panic. Did'nt he play football? It'll be like Julius Peppers all over again. He can make the NFL if he tries.

Not good. Out of all drafted players since 1995, international players as a whole fare worse than any single class of college players (frosh, sophs, etc) or HS-to-NBA players.

A couple spectacular successes - eg, Dirk - caused NBA teams to get gold fever and start drafting any 6-10 Euro who could walk 5 feet without falling over.

Tore both ACLs in high school, I think.

My cousin made this game: Gem Pop. It's legitimately fun, particularly for people who enjoy Bejewled, Dr. Mario, Tetris, etc. kinds of games. Only two bucks! If you try it out, PM me with what you think of it.

Darko makes no sense. His contract and Richardson's are both the same length.

Donny Walsh has'nt been making sense since this night started.

Unless there is a ultimate master plan up his sleeve to get Chris Bosh to lure LeBron, but after tonight I don't think so at all.

3 years ago, freshman Chase Budinger was expected to be a lottery pick if he entered the draft.
2 years ago, sophomore Chase Budinger was expected to be a lottery pick if he entered the draft.
1 year ago, junior Chase Budinger was expected to be a top 20 pick if he entered the draft.

Where's Dickie V to talk about how great it is to stay in college 4 years when Budinger gets drafted?

Might have been a lottery pick if he hadn't gotten hurt during the season.

Good at finishing at the rim and spotting up for 3s. Weak handle, turns the ball over a lot when he has to create his own offense.

Good size at 6'9.5", good agility and can run the floor, good hands, decent passer. Below-average quickness, has trouble penetrating with the dribble (slow first step), seems to lose focus and intensity at times.
