We don't get Otter Pops in this area nor have I ever seen one. We have Fla-Vor-Ice which I always seems to cut myself with the razor sharp plastic

My friends cut the otter pops into little pieces, put them in a bowl, and then pour their soda of choice and eat it like cereal. At parties, they do the same thing, except with vodka.

I never had Otter Pops, just the generic ones. They came 500 to a box or something ridiculous like that. Occasionally mom'd let me pick out something, and I wasn't going to waste that on Otter Pops. It was usually Flinstones push-up pops or a generic alternative, because I was a dumb kid.

Sometimes we made home-made popsicles by freezing flavoraid.

    Not Kool-aid, flavoraid.

    Always flavoraid.

So, my neighborhood is frequently visited by an ice cream truck, which is badass.

The problem is, the people who actually drive it are awful and hateful people who seem to genuinely want to die. How is that not an awesome job? Motherfuckers from 6 to 23 are all out there excited as shit for some bomb-pops, and they gotta be a bitch about it.

A long time back, an ice cream truck stopped by my neighborhood maybe two or three times, and then never showed up again, I'd forgotten about it till now. Wonder what the hell it was all about

On visiting my old roommate in Georgia, I found out an interesting thing.

The ice cream truck comes through the eighborhood at about 5 pm and sells frozen treats. It comes again at 3 am and sells drugs.

The speakers play the ice cream truck music nonstop on both occasions.

    Edit/ story numbering two.

The ice cream truck that was in that area when I lived there was actually an old van with a hole cut in the side. It played the gunfight theme from Good the Bad and the Ugly.

I think otter pops might be a west coast thing. I'm really surprised how much food is region oriented even within the USA. Ethnic demands come into play too ( I'm so thankful there is so many Vietnamese restaurants here)

Anyhow though, I wish they would make a powerade or gatorade version of these. or fruit juice not this whole flavored sugar water stuff.

Hey, going on what viscountalpha just said about regional foodstuffs:

Is CostCo and BJ's Wholesale Club the same company or associated or something? I was in a CostCo for the first time ever the other day, and the signs and everything reminded me a lot of BJ's.

Is CostCo spelled with two capital Cs, or one big C and one little c?

with this amazing new tool called the internet you could probably answer this question yourself by googling both companies and doing a little research yourself

Last year I tried to eat 100 in a day.

Lemme tell you, man was not meant to eat 100 Flavor-ices in a day. Only 54.

It sucked because I flooded my kidneys and was constantly pissing and I came off a sugar high.

That was the best reason to skip two days of classes in college.

    I don't believe they are

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BJ%27s_Wholesale_Club

I love wikipedia for internet references and odd bits of information you can't really get anywhere else. But, I wouldn't trust it 100% because it can get modified easily.

    Also,

I would eat hydrox cookies IF THEY HAD THEM HERE....
