What should you do when the light turns green?
a. Accelerate instantly.
b. Make sure nobody is coming, then proceed.
c. Wait 2 seconds and then proceed.
Well (a) is obviously wrong. (b) makes sense, but when I took it, I thought (c) was the safest one, so I selected it. If I'd thought about it more, though, waiting 2 seconds after a light turns green is kind of a long time; people will honk at you and shit. Plus, you're just waiting, you're not actually checking to see if it's safe. So I got the question wrong; it was (b). Just be sure to think about each question.
Also, the test is pretty forgiving. I think you only have to get something like 14 of 20 questions correct, or a similar sort of ratio, so if you honest-to-god don't know the answer to one, just choose something and don't worry about it.
The written test is seriously not a big deal, as long as you put on your thinking cap when you take it. Think of all the idiots with licenses out there.
