Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

I wish i could splice that together and make a henry hatsworth game with arbitrary sadistic laws
I love watching that shit
fuck I'm gonna do it right now
any major dude will tell you
basically the only thing anywhere in the game that can be considered remotely difficult
and it is balls hard
Is that game legit?
If not I can stick to my wiiware copy of Paper Mario
they are working on a second one I think?
let me put it this way: I just about never play games to absolute 100% completion
to date, I have done it with three games: sonic 1 and 2 on the genesis, and super mario galaxy
and completing the former two at 100% just meant beating them with all the emeralds
apparantly it's actually almost done, but they're not releasing it until 2010
they don't want it to eat into NSMB Wii's sales, you see
the pricks
that last bowser level blew my fucking mind, especially the bit where
the Dreadnought Galaxy was insane
frankly, all the sidescrolling stages were fun
that is pretty much all i needed to know. day one purchase.
speaking of which, i'll probably have to get NSMB day one also, that shit looks bananas.

essentially this is a collection of advice and anecdotes about being a gamer's girlfriend
it really bothers me and I'm not sure why
i get the feeling this is written by a dude
who wishes he had this imaginary person as a girlfriend
and is an awful human being
could be
it's like a giant plea for a girlfriend that he can use for sex and then quietly escort to a corner to go clean his shirts while he plays WoW
fucking goddammit
"hi sweetie how was your day oh that's very int-oh shit 30 minutes is up? get in the fucking kitchen, I've got a Triforce to find"
the fact that there were only three of them is the single most tragic event of 2008
edit: not to imply that this sort of thing doesn't apply with other hobbies or with the gender roles reversed
She always has to find a save point, I can really relate to this imaginary person.
Satans..... hints..... I'm a mo bro!
This is a troll, right? At least I hope so.
He's not talking about a girlfriend, he's talking about a maid.
Maybe I'm missing something, but this doesn't look that hard. I can see it might take a few tries to learn the locations of all the bombs and work out an optimal route, but once you've got that down it should be pretty straightforward. You've got ample health, at least 30 seconds more than you strictly need, and the timing on the electric gates isn't unreasonable.
it always looks easy
it wasn't
plus the swim controls were pretty bad
plus most people playing it when it came out were little kids
The dam level in TMNT is easy if you know exactly where to go and if you can manage the controls. They're not very good.
Did any of you actually finish either of those games? I can't remember how far I got in Battletoads, and in TMNT I got into the technodrome and really hit the wall.
Kinda like in Mario games
with job money
I'm honestly curious if anyone cares, Sony
The real draw is the $100 price cut
Is the ps2 bc still fucked or what?
