    Ok so I have a really really dumb problem. I realized halfway to Seattle that I had left my only picture ID behind. Is this gonna be a big problem? Like should I try to have someone overnight it to me? I have my barcode and pax badge.

    Does getting into PAX 2 hours early apply just for tomorrow or for all 3 days?

    You don't "get into PAX early". You get into BYOC, so you can set up and chill out until PAX starts. The other days, you can't get in until 10am, is my understanding.

    so, if my cousin doesnt show up to claim his BYOC ticket in person, I cant get into BYOC? (Im using his ticket)
    we didnt change the name in time...


    There has to be some other way to claim the tickets as a proxy for someone else. The government lets you do it for passports, and this is just a lan gaming event...

    there usually are LAN TF2 servers..

    Gods.. haven't played TF2 in forever.. anywho, Zankabo standing by.. sorta.. over in Gabe section n such.

    It's hardly ideal. What's weird is how much up we have, which means our connection must be pretty good, but something is using all the down.

    EDIT: The situation has improved quite a bit, tf2 is playable now, ty whoever fixed whatever was messed up.

    We had about 30/30 for connection. its getting owned by various things, one of the intel guys is on it and monitoring it. Hes shutting down things that are sucking up all the bandwidth.

    Hey guys, I spoke to one of the Intel guys, and apparently the BYOC LAN is segregated from the PC Freeplay LAN. I gotta say... it sucks. The BYOC servers feel so empty. Maybe it'll be better tomorrow.

    If it's not too late, I'd love for the networks to be joined.

    It was too late in the day to get it fixed *that day*. They had to take the network down to fix it so it had to wait for everyone to leave for the night.

    Its all good now though

    Hey guys, there is a Steam group called "PAX(penny arcade expo{unofficial}". I'd encourage everyone to join this group, add your non-Steam games to your Steam game list, and launch through Steam. That way we know what people are playing!

    I know i know i have missed most of the boyc. Been busy with everything else pax, but whats the rest of the schedule like for Sunday? Anything worth popping up for... like for kick tournys or such?

    I would also like to say that the network is pretty slooowwwww. Downloading game patches, drivers, etc. is really slow. Even the LAN itself seems pretty slow. The BYOC network last year definitely had more "snap" to it.

    Hey guys, at the moment I'm hosting a cool custom CoD4 map. You can get it at \\raptor007-pc\Shared\Games\Call of Duty 4\Waldo World Arena (beta 2). It plays best in Old School mode, and I have a server going right now.

    I'm assuming quite a few forum BYOCers will be going to the omegathon final round. Only thing is the omegathon ends when BYOC closes... o_O

    The room officially closes at 6pm, but if you want to game right up until the omegathon round, go see it, then pack up after its over.
    Everyone *NEEDS* to be out by 7pm, no exceptions.
