Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
"This piece is composed of sounds from the Spielberg classic film 'Hook', a sine wave bass, and a few cymbals for extra spice." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65PiKsNhCscThis guy's other stuff is fucking ace as well.

You know, now that I think about it, that instrument that TAM was asking about could also be a tenor sax.
It is - you can see it behind/next to his chair, and I saw no sign of an oboe's distinctive mouthpiece.
does not equal
Nor do they sound anything alike. Or sound like or look like an oboe.
And that saxophone behind his chair is this
Which coincidentally does also not sound like an oboe or a clarinet.
All of you are dumb.
Your fuckin' family's dug into the Southie projects like ticks. You, however, grew up on the North Shore, huh? Well, la-di-fuckin'-da. You were kind of a double kid, I bet, right? Huh? One kid with your old man, one kid with your mother. You're upper-middle class during the weeks, then you're droppin' your "R"s and you're hangin' in the big, bad Southie projects with your daddy on the weekends. I got that right?

The sound he's making when he appears to be playing sounds a lot like a Saxophone, though.
However, I don't know either of those instruments well enough to make an educated guess.
Sometimes a clarinet can sound a little like an alto, but in this case it's a clarinet for sure. The bari in the background is actually providing the bass progression under the whole song.
