i like the flaw on the helmet on the figure to the right that's in the original screenshot. gives it a bit more personality : o i'd keep that in any edits, i think?
They had that problem with Lazer Nunchaku. Damn things cut right through you!

Loving the colours. That cyan blueish tone works really well alongside red. I can kinda see what youre trying to do with the pose. Perhaps his head is throwing it off. Maybe the shoulder should come more in front of the chin. Im not sure. keep at it! if you havnt, photograph a mate for reference.
It's a bit hard to get a sense of scale for the background. Is he standing in a simple field (like crop field or whatever you'd call it) or is he floating high above a futuristic city (albeit very loosely rendered one). Two things could improve this, adding more canvas at the bottom so we can see his foot and where the shadow lands and a more tighter rendering on the background.
yeah problem came when I sorta overcroped it, removing much of the grounding for his foot. Right now I'm rifining the form and edges, and reworking the bg as well since I'm not too satisfied with it. Thanks for the comments

Mykonos: While I agree that cyan - shade'o'red is one of the awesomest color combinations, yours doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Nothing in that scene would be bright enough to give off that vibrant color, and the subject matter isn't whimsical enough to warrant doing it just for the sake of having some bright-ass cyan in there. That's my opinion.
bored, figured I'd post what I'm doodlin' with at the moment. gonna be cropped for a friend's kid. He just turned three and has good taste in role models.
Wolvie and Cap'in are giving off a bit of a lovey dovey vibe. It looks kinda like Logan is caressing Captain Americas chest, and he is too coy to let on how much he's enjoying it. Get out of the closet already Captain!!

It looks like all her weight is bearing down on her left shin.
Makes the pose look uncomfortable, especially considering the position of her arms and the relaxed position of her right leg.
If it were me, I'd have her center of gravity more over her ass by bringing the knees up a little higher.
It often helps to put the chair in when something feels awkward. If you saw a person like that without a chair it would certainly feel awkward so why shouldn't it in a drawing?
Her torso and shoulders are getting quite large in comparison to her pelvis and legs. Her lower left leg is feeling a bit short to me as well.

In other news, it looks like I'm going to be shown at a gallery downtown in a "up and coming artists show"! Ha! Finally out of the campus gallery!
In other other news, I found out I can still paint well when drunk.
I'm trying to stand on the shoulder of a giant.
THANK GOD cezanne didn't have a mirror.

Looks ok. but yeah, if you have mirrors in your studio, try and make use of them, even if its just the early block-in stages.
gah, I can't figure out the errors in this one at all any more- I spent too long going back over it.
