Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

If a girl lies to me who I am in love with and she has told me she loves me I can't let it go. I'm an asshole.

    wut

Basically, if I am in a loving relationship, and the girl lies to me, and I find out about the lie, to me the relationship ends pretty much. I have a shitty past with being lied to and I can't let it go when it happens in a relationship.

I am very glad you aren't my boyfriend.

Yeah, I've never lied to a girlfriend (weirdly, seriously not even in a small way (apart from maybe "do I look fat in this")) and my ex used to tell me big fucking lies, like "I didn't make out with the guy, I just wanked him off" even if it was in past tense. I just think that if I ask a question that isn't intrusive or personal it should be answered honestly. I am completely honest when asked any question so don't see why it can't happen the other way around. It's not even on big deal stuff, and I don't take it out on my girlfriend, she doesn't even know I feel bad about the shit because I don't bring it up and try not to show it.

Obviously you lie to your boyfriend a lot.

Nope. Don't really know much about The The. weren't they like some post-punk dub/EMB band that got poppy later on?
I know basically nothing about them.

I only knew ‘This is the Day’, which is from Soul Mining... very poppy track, but the rest of the album is pretty synthpop/new wave. Maybe something you’d like.

    Cool, thanks!

man, what the fuck joh. take that to H/A. You'll fit right in.

What you think "makes sense" has nothing to do with reality. It just has to do with your life experience. And your life experience may only be a small smidgen of reality. Possibly even a distorted account of reality at that. So what this means is that, beginning in the 20th century as our means of decoding nature became more and more powerful, we started realizing our common sense is no longer a tool to pass judgment on whether or not a scientific theory is correct. - Neil Degrasse Tyson

Silverlight 3 essentially WPF lite. Doesn't have the breadth but is a browser plugin and works on the Mac.

So tomorrow I am thinking of stopping by a Bestbuy and grabbing a computer game (I like having the box :3) I am thinking of spending around 20 dollars or so, grabbing a game that came out last year or years past.

So far I am looking at Mass Effect, Titan's Quest, Assassin's Creed or FEAR.

Though I am slowly getting tempted to get Empire: Total War.

Silverlight to me is essentially a repeat of the same mistake java applets and flash made: lock all the cool shit in a box on the page.

I like the broader interactivity of HTML 5, where the cool stuff is integrated into the DOM proper
