    The dead guy doesn't have a wound... He's missing pretty much all the skin above his pecs and half of his arm and we've also cut off pretty much all of the fat in that area as well.

    I'd say it's a bit more serious than a wound, besides he's been preserved with formaldehyde, I'm pretty sure he won't get any bacteria growth.

    It is surprisingly hard to sue doctors actually. Well, sue and win in any case, about 95% of all cases (if not more) just go nowhere and are dismissed cause the doctor is shown to not have done anything wrong/so wrong it's unacceptable.

    Also yeah, a fifth year started telling me and a bunch of stories about surgeries. Like the one where the fifth year student was told in the operation theatre that "here, you remove the appendix, it's dead simple just cut there and pull it out" when she'd never done any operations before and hadn't been prepared at all.

    edit: I passed my exams second time around thank you very much. I'm just under the 50% percentile as well..
