What about video games like these?

Also I guess Heroes and Smallville are still on? But who watches those? Bad people that's who. But here's pictures of them anyway.

So, talk about this crap here and stuff! Maybe I'll put more effort into this OP tomorrow.

Oh, and also. One of the reasons I realized we didn't have this thread anymore.
    CBR wrote:
Sam Raimi spoke with MTV News about the fourth film. As each film has examined Peter Parker's emerging sense of responsibility, the director says the film will be about "the growth of that understanding, that it encompasses more than just his sense of duty toward others but he also has a sense of responsibility as a human being toward the ones he loves."

Starring Toby Maguire, release date: May 5th, 2011

So, maybe they'll be focusing more on the Peter Parker side? I'm not sure how to interpret that.

I was thinking about things like the Spawn toon in the late 90s and the upcoming but constantly delayed black panther thing for BET.

Why can't we have a really mature, short-form Daredevil series? It would be incredible.

I never really understand it when actors decide they want to leave enormously successful franchises.

If someone was paying me seven figures to do a movie, I'd ride that for as long as I could, build a giant Scrooge McDuck-style money vault, and worry about artistic integrity and typecasting later.

In some cases the actor finds he or she could be landing bigger, higher paying roles, but doesn't have room in his or her schedule due to the pre-existing obligation presented by the franchise. This is Kristen Dunst we're talking about, though, so I doubt that applies here.

Apparently she wants to play the lead singer of Blondie in Michel Gondry's biopic of the band. Spider-Man 4 would likely get in the way of that.

I guess I can admire someone turning down a high-paying gig to do something they find more personally satisfying, especially when they already have a giant pile of money, but man, trying to wrap my head around the concept of actually doing it is tough. Maybe it's just because I'm a terrible sellout, but if someone told me they wanted to chain me to my drafting table for a year to write and draw The Adventures of Dr. Light in Rapeland, and they'd pay me millions of dollars for my time, I'd be all, "Alright, who gets Dibny'd first? Oh, Blue Beetle? Well, as long as the checks clear."

I haven't really seen the Planet Hulk Trailer discussed yet. I think it looks pretty good, and seems to be rather faithful to the comics.

Maybe the secret to making good Marvel cartoons is to include the Hulk?

I think it was more that she and Tobey hated each other, because supposedly he is a massive dick. I guess when you're talking about millions of dollars, being miserable isn't that bad, but she has been doing this for years and years.

Although maybe it is the other way around and she is terrible and Tobey is a nice guy.

Rest assured, I have fixed the image, Ringo.

But anyways, I used to like Kristin Dunst. Well, not like, but I didn't mind her. I didn't even mind her in Spider-Man 1 and most of 2. But ugh. That quote when she's like, "I think Spider-Man should like, die! And then Mary Jane can raise his Spider-Baby! That'd be a great film!

    Shut up, Dunst.

Yes, but she did turn down a dozen roles that wanted to cast her as a stripper before that. She may have just ran out of options. Either don't work, or make an objectifying movie.

meggan fox is a moron. she has no idea that all she is, is possibly the sexiest girl on the planet. I mean thats it. the very sexiest...depending on your point of view. I don't care that she's dumb or a bad actress. What I do care about, is that no one has told her. someone (like her mom) should sit her down with some pictures of her and explain it, slowly so she'll somewhat understand. no speaky. She was lucky to be cast in the giant robots movie, and now she gets to be in a film that would never have been made if juno hadn't been so very fucking cute.

that being said i want to rail meggan fox something fierce. I would also like to sleep with kisten dunst and so many many other hot women.

I also find the spider baby idea to be funny.

my point is...famke jansen was pretty hot in those xmen movies. I hated x-men 3, but i was pretty disappointed when that scene with her and wolverine in the infirmary didn't go full blown porno. I think if they had done that, i wouldn't have minded the rest of the ratner suckfest.
