I used to hate going to hardware stores like Home Depot with my dad when I was a kid. But then I figured out you could climb through and explore their many shelving units, and then I enjoyed it very much.

Also, I am making chicken broccoli alfredo. So much work, but so much reward.

This is great. I should be freaking out right now - everyone else in my course is - because we have a 2500 word essay due tomorrow and've had barely any time to work on it the last few weeks. However, for once I didn't leave things to the last minute, and actually did the essay weeks ago during the semester break. So while everyone else isn't going to sleep tonight I can just chill out and make a few minor edits.

I should try this time-management thing more often.

So this is old news now and a page late, but I had to couch surf for a lot of reasons. Like needing to save a little money for deposits and such, and roommates changing their mind about moving in (went looking for 2br apts, then 3br, then 4br, then 3br again). I stayed with me mums for awhile, but then she had to move out as well, and I was on my own.
It was an experience (; I really hated having to re-pack stuff over and over and then not finding what I needed 'cause it was in a different bag/place in my car than before.

The intro to Fade to Black (the classical guitar bit) is so much fun to play. It sounds great and it's ridiculously easy.

EDIT: Oh shit, I just freaked out a little because I accidentally overwrote my essay. Luckily I have a backup.
