That game was great. I was at a bar with my buddy for his 21st birthday that night. The place was so quiet and down then the comeback started. The beer suddenly became free and everyone was your friend.
So much yelling. So much fun.

I totally miss watching the Mallards. I know they are the Flames now or some shit, but to me they will always be the mallards.
I use to buy the pucks you chucked onto the ice between periods. I'd wing 'em sidearm as hard as I could right into the boards then watch 'em rebound back into the crowd. Man I was a drunken asshole in college.

Last time I went I almost got in a fist fight though. I was trying to explain hockey to my wife and the guy in front of me didn't appreciate my running commentary.

Although I feel I should point out that the ACC is 10-0 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
yeah, I think the ACC tends to be a bit deeper overall than the big ten, so a lot of the matchups between the lower teams tend to be pretty big ACC wins
but somehow, even when the conference is down, the big ten always tends to advance a bunch of teams into at least the second round
probably because it's a defensive conference, really
I gotta say, watching some Big Ten games this year, we look deep. I am scared that Ohio State is going to get dominated by North Carolina.
