Santee, I am tracking your last package to my house. It is in Kentucky right now. Should be here tomorrow and then I finally ship your stuff outtttttt.
So! People! you all should check your gmails, because one of you got my first gift on it!!!!
The box is still slowly moving across the ocean to its final destination of cheer, but first gift travels via electrons.
Its me!! I've been Steamed!!!!!! Couldn't have come on a better day - I've just had a £2k pay cut confirmed, as of my January pay cheque (well, at least I've still got a job), and this has cheered me no end!
"Dear LewieP's Mummy,
Here's part ONE of your Xmas Cheer Xtreem Brazilian Edition. Expect a mysterious box to arrive at your door in a couple of weeks, I hope.

Aw man. Pure Canadian maple syrup. That's awesome.
Heck yes, most people would recommend making up some pancakes and pouring some on, but let me say that hot Blueberry Eggo Waffles are terrific with our syrup slathered on.
It also makes an awesome "secret ingredient" in almost any meal. (IE...chili..for real)

Yay! I hope you like the game, it seems really the kind of experience you'd like I couldn't resist waiting longer, I wanted you to get something soon while the box is still sloooooowly crossing the Atlantic.
This is also the gaming gift, the box has other kinds of cheery things. And all are perfectly family-safe, I might add.
Since the dog I like passed away a few months ago and the dog I don't like suffers from a skin condition that makes him look like something out of Resident Evil, I got my buddy Cthulhu to stand in. He's a good sport.
HOLY CRAP IT'S A BIGGER CTHULHU
And two books! They seem impossible to photograph (probably made from Bigfoot skin). The first is The Guinea Pig Diaries: My Life As A Human Experiment, which I actually had written down on my list of Books To Check Out after having seen the guy on The Colbert Report, and Alas, Babylon, which is a post-apocalyptic novel that takes place in my trusty, wang-shaped state of Florida.
The nice note.
Notes are nice, but back to that giant Cthulhupillow!
He's huge, and soft. Being described as a "pillow/stuffed animal" is spot on.

Thank you, Jawa!
Glad you like the gift! I'm also really glad you like the books I was looking everywhere to figure out what books you had.
I recieved word that my gift has arrived and is waiting for me at home.
I won't be able to open it for another few hours though!

I stopped off at the post office on the way home and sent off your gift, Santee. Expect it in seven business days, or so I am told.
Upon returning home, I saw a lovely FedEx slip slathered onto my front window. Really? On the window? The guy couldn't have just stuck it to the door?
Apparently my "business was closed," so they couldn't deliver the letter. They're going to try again tomorrow before 5, which is convenient because I work all day again. I'm off Wednesday though, so they should be able to deliver it then.
I was informed via proxy that my Santee had sent a letter separately from a package, and I am not to open said letter until I open the package. So, I'm not too bummed about the delay in this FedEx shipment, since the package has yet to arrive.
I hope to get the second half of my gift shipped out this week. There were some stupid delays that I will relate in more detail later. Basically it amounts to something that originally was $20 jumping to $200 on amazon in like, a day. So I had to make some pretty rapid change of plans, but I hope he likes what I was able to do.
I know my Santee has my gift, but he hasn't posted at all in the last few days. I hope he's okay.

It's the unfortunate probability with Secret Santa every year that if your Santee has received his gift and has not posted about it, as well as not posted at all in forever, you may have a deadbeat Santa as your Santee.

I doubt my Santee is a deadbeat - he logs in regularly, just doesn't post a lot.

Thats the same way mine is... But he hasn't posted anything in the Secret Santa thread in a while.
He's also double dipping on santa threads in another sub-forum, which I don't thing is wrong, but somewhat odd.
In any case, the stuff should get to him friday. I expect PICTURES!
Santa,
Apparently a package arrived for me from amazon at my house.
I do not know if it something you sent or something I bought as a present for family/friends.
Also I will not know the answer until I finish final exams and get back home (2 weeks)
The suspense is slowly killing me.
I'm increasingly worried that I'm one of those people that the "My Santee hasn't posted in, like, forever" posts are about.
If you're wondering, Santa, I haven't received anything yet. If your records show otherwise, let me know somehow and I'll have to go threaten the guys in the mail room with grevious bodily harm.

Dear Santa. If whatever is sent to me is arriving after the 20th, I won't be able to get it till after the holidays. So if that's happening, let me know via proxy or somethin'.

If I knew something was delivered but my Santee didn't post about it, I'd be inclined to send him/her a message via proxy. I know I have trouble receiving packages I know are coming, let alone ones I'm not expecting.

What? You get Spam mail trying to sell you Syphilis? How would you ship that?
Cialis, not syphilis.
Wrong.
The correct answer was 'Personal Delivery' :winky:

On the upside, I'm sending out my gift today. The Christmas cheer will explode all over your face, Santee.
One or two more things, maybe some candy, and I'm all set.
I'm pretty sure you will love it.
Edit: Machinarium that is.
I'm in the same boat, Amazon says my present was delivered on the 5th...
Gift sent'd. You get no candy. Brush your teeth.
Healthy gums are healthy,
