okay like 10 minutes into Spirit Tracks

so I guess this isn't a sequel to Phantom Hourglass at all...but all of Tetra's pirates are still there and there's a picture of Tetra pre-Zeldaifcation, but she doesn't know Link! Guuuhhhhh

I thought it was supposed to take place like a generation or so later, in the new Hyrule that they set out to establish at the end of Wind Waker

people all talk about how the kingdom was established 100 years ago
and there is someone who talks about how zelda looks just like someone she knew 100 years ago..

We all know that every Zelda game follows a specefic storyline and all the games go in a certain order right?

No of course not, but you can take it a couple or 3 games at a time

Ocarina and Majora's Mask, Wind Waker and Hourglass and (I thought) Spirit Tracks, etc.

Because the best the fucking King guy could think of to wish for was "Hope." Not "a restoration of the land in which a bunch of people are currently living and starving," but "hope." Thanks a fucking million, King of Red Lions

Debating going back to Knights in the Nightmare, it was a fun game, but for some reason I stopped playing it a little ways in.

My wife dropped and broke her DS Lite this morning. I heard this sickening thud and snap sound from the hall, and her "awww". Hinge busted, its in 2 parts now. Called Nintendo and we're out of warantee so its $98 for them to repair it. That covers shipping both ways plus a 1 year warantee so if anything else busts on it within that year its completely covered. Or I could walk into any store and get a brand new one immediately for $40 more...or jump up to the DSi.

Can someone tell me if the DSi is worth the extra $$? Should I just repair the broken Lite?

How often does she use the GBA slot? If you don't mind losing it, I'd say upgrade

DSiWare has a lot of fluff, but there are some really good games buried in it (All the ArtStyle games, Mario vs Donkey Kong, a lot of Brain Age-esque games if you like those)

I can't stand Scribblenauts as a game, the controls and wonky physics are way too distracting. Plus I figured out if you attach the stars to handcuffs attached to a basket, you can just drag them over to you.
