After being manhandled by Canada Post for nearly a month, two boxes show up unannounced at work. I had honestly given up on them and figured my Santa would need to petition Canada Post to see what greasy conveyor belt they'd fallen under/into:

Wii Points! Holy shit, this is cool. My girlfriend's Wii is full of Her Games, but now it must bow before me and store MINE AS WELL AHAHAHA. Purchased: Secret of Mana (You can play *3 player* on this shit) and Super Smash Brothers (because awwww yeah).
I loved this movie! And it's the movie I bought for some kid at CHEO here in Ottawa for Child's Play. Now I get my own copy!
I love zombies! (Or, I mean, I hate zombies. Right. Get that straight.) And I just ran outta books to read on this bus. Am on Chapter two as we speak, and the zombie fightin' livens up what would otherwise be a fairly NOT action-packed romance story, I'm sure.

So let me tell you about this picture, it's the dutch houses of parliament, and people are ice-skating on the pond in front of it. The tower on the left is actually the office of the prime minister. So in winter, you can skate up to his office and knock on his window! How cool is that! I read of the forum that you got laid off recently, sorry to hear that. I was much happier to read that you got a new job! Congrats! I hope you have an awesometastic christmas this year, and I'm sure I'll see you around on the forums!

I just finished my copy of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. He really integrated the zombies into the story very well, though if you don't like Jane Austen you won't find that much to like in the book.

Yes, it's important to note that it is simply Pride and Prejudice plus zombies. It's like having a cheeseburger with pickles. Just cause you love pickles, doesn't mean you're gonna love that burger. If you hate cheeseburgers, you probably won't like it.
That said, Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters is fun too. I hear he's working on more of Austen's texts as well.

I thought it was pretty cool that in Canada, you can wander all over the grounds of Parliament without an escourt (contrasting of course to the states, where there's armed security guards keepin' you a million miles away from the White House). But bein' able to wander over to the PM's office, knock on the window, and be all "WORK HARDER, THERE ARE MORE BILLS TO PASS HURRY HURRY i will go ice skate more while you WORK WORK WORK DAMNIT." That is pretty cool.

I also got two notes with the toaster, one with some Cave Story quotes and a Merry Christmas, and one that was hidden in the box which said Counter Activated, which I think got mistakenly put in the box, cause I don't really know what to make of that message.
Counter Activated was what the game says when you enter Hell/Sacred Grounds with the clock - it was supposed to be right on top but contents may have shifted~

Well, secret santa 2009 is quite over for me. I just wanted to pop back in to thank our fine hosts as well SF_Dhalsim and BlueBlue for being an awesome Santa/Santee. This was my first year, and I will definitely do it against next year.
So this year was kind of a mixed bag for me. Apart from all the horrible things that happened to people who posted in the thread this year, I had an awesome Santa, but my Santee never posted pics as she promised to do. I'm guessing that means I did not do an A-1 job of stalking and will have to do better next year.
