I have to say, while many people lament the graphics as an impediment to gameplay these days, I'm really hoping that we continue on the current trajectory so game designers are forced to invent more and more interesting locales for things to happen.

17 balls to go to see out the draw and no wickets left to lose. You never do things the easy way, do you?

English English is fuckin nonsensical, you Lewis Carrol motherfuckers.

And cricket is not a game. It's just a stupidly long ritual.

English English is fine. Just remember where to centre the electric metre, and colour in your drawing of the honourable knight in shining armour.

Graphics aren't an impediment to gameplay. They are just stupidly expensive and thus an impediment to innovation and risk-taking.

No, because unlike poorly programmed robots, we can just say "that doesn't make any fucking sense" and move on.

Will, cricket is the greatest game in existence. It's so good its purest form has to be played out over five days, otherwise the spectators will be killed by its incredible beauty.

    Like Mad Max?

    Or The Time Machine?

    Or Virtuosity?

    Or The Invasion?

    Or X-Men?

    Or The Dark Knight?

Cinema is lousy with you aussies. On balance your people do have a habit of hiding their nationality, I guess because australian cinema is just so famous for sucking.

I've had Cricket explained to me on 4 different occasions and every time, I've decided it's fucking retarded.

That said, I want the MLB to adopt the running bowler/pitcher thing. Watching baseball pitchers run and throw the ball would be awesome.

So I just got home and my absent roommate's cell phone rang. As it's ringing I wonder, "Hm, I wonder if that's Corporal So-and-so needing me for anything last minute and, knowing I don't have a phone yet, calling my roommate's?"

So I answered it. It was. Good thinking Res!

So now I have to go.

Virtuosity was RDMs pilot for a new show, which is why it doesn't actually end. Also we were all over Pitch Black for some reason. And Farscape.

EDIT: Also the Dark Knight is neither here nor their but Heath Ledger knocked the Joker out of the fucking park.
