Agreed. Though every single one of those games will be at the $30 price point (or less) within 6 months. I can wait. :P

I wish I had the TIME to play all those games, nevermind the cash to buy them!

    That too.

With two kids and a wife, I neither have the money or time for gaming like I used too.

At times I miss by bachelor days when I had both. But then I remember I'm raising my daughter to be just as awesome a gamer as I ever was. :D

    Okay well yeah, that too.

I tend to buy games these days when they're on sale simply as decoration for my bookshelves, it seems.

Oh hey thread. I got a few things in today.

    pickupfeb8.jpg

I ordered a few things from Amazon:

-"The Time Machine Did It" the first in a series of humor/mystery novels by John Swartzwelder, a former Simpsons writer (Look him up, he probably did one of your favorites) They keep talking about these books in the DVD commentaries so I figured it was time to start picking 'em up.

    - Hori PSP screen protector. This is for my White PSP. Took me about an hour to get it on properly, but it's on. No bubbles, no dust, no problem. Of course the screen protector is scratched a bit from being applied so many times and the PSP screen itself probably picked up another light scratch or two in the process from how many times I had to wipe the screen off with the little microfiber cloth, but hopefully the damn thing will stay on there until it the thing dies completely at the point.

-The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Collector's Edition Guide. I've always wanted this thing, and I'm gonna pick up the Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass books as well to keep the collection going someday. I'll probably replay through Zelda:TP sometime this summer to try to 100% the sucker this time around. I also might frame the cloth map because I am just THAT DORKY.

-Chase Amazon Card: Got $30 off the three items listed above because I signed up for a new credit card. This is only the second in my life, and it has some decent rewards for once unlike the boring "grown-up" awards my previous card had.

-New Checks: Ironically these came in the same day as the card. I ran outta checks. I ordered more. That's about the entire story.

    Yessss

He did "Krusty Gets Kancelled", which is one of my favorites probably just because of the scene with the Red Hot Chili Peppers:

Krusty the Clown: Now, boys, the network has a problem with some of your lyrics. Do you mind changing them for the show?
    Anthony Kiedis: Forget you, clown.
Chad Smith: Yeah, our lyrics are like our children, man. No way.
Krusty the Clown: Well, okay, but here where it says, "What I got you gotta get and put it in ya," how about just, "What I'd like is I'd like to hug and kiss ya."
    Flea: Wow. That's much better!
Arik Marshall: Everyone can enjoy that!

This month is low on purchases, only plan on picking of Heavy Rain. However, roommate moved out late last month, so wife and I are going to re-paint the room, and then I will have my dedicated office back, aka quiet work area and place to play my games and work on music. Lots of stuff will need to be bought then, mainly in the name of cable maintenance and poster frames.

Also, I will be finally wall mounting my TV, so need to get all of that stuff ordered. Slow month for games, but I'm ok with that for once.

Dunno if I want Heavy Rain or not... if it's what I think it is, people will finish it maybe once, or realize its NOT the game they thought it'd be, and there'll be used copies aplenty with light playthrough.

The original Diablo did not use a cd key. It only required the cd to be in the drive while playing.

Samsung is my favorite brand of TVs. Every unit I owned or I've seen at a relative's home has been completely awesome.
