    Clint will probably show up to help Cage out in being the good guy leader. At least in the first arc.

    And then he can have a quickie with Karla for old time's sake.

    But Hawkeye-bolts will always be the best.

    Parker could even bring back Charcoal!

    Because the Avengers and the X-Men suck compared to the T-Bolts. More happened in the first thirty issues of Thunderbolts than in all of New Avengers. Fact

    Regarding Crossbones on the team, maybe it's due to what happened to Sin? I don't really know otherwise.

    Crossbones could be easy to explain if you think about it. Cage needs a gun toting maniac on the team, so he gets big government to put a chip in the guy's neck that shocks the ever-living bajeesus out of him if he doesn't play along. Plus Cage gets the added bonus of making the guy who tried to kill Captain America his little bitch.

    Songbird belongs on the Avengers, it's time for her to move up in the world. That said I'm loving this new team, mostly because they're keeping Ghost, who I think Cage will be able to get along with since they both have a chip on their shoulder about "the man".

    If you can't beat them, arrange to have them beaten in your presence.

    I'd say go with Busiek's original "Justice Like Lightning", as long as you don't mind references to Onslaught. I like the Avengers/Thunderbolts crossover, especially (the second one?) when Zemo proves Cap doesn't trust him.

    New Thunderbolts are ok, but doesn't really pick up until Zemo rejoins the team in time for Civil War. Then its pretty cool seeing this Machiavellian predestination thing as well as the Songbird romance.

    Warren Ellis's run is pretty cool, and is definetly one of the highlights. Not a huge fan of the stuff post-Secret Invasion, when Diggle takes over.

    A few years ago when I was getting back into comics, I decided to check out the Thunderbolts, because it had been a big deal when I was a youngster. So I picked up John Arcudi's Thunderbolts TPB, and was thoroughly confused.
