Man, I'm just imagining that setup and...it'd be so weird, having a fish move around outside of its tank. Like a dog or cat walking around an apartment. Only. It'd be a fish. Over your head.
All walkin' into your kitchen in the middle of the night, everything is dimly lit by a single nightlight over the counter...you see movement around the corner, on the ceiling...pair of shiny googly-eyes staring at you from the dark livingroom, floating 8 feet up. Blub. Blub. Blub.

That reminds me of that youtube clip I saw awhile back of a fishbowl hooked up to some RC car parts and motion sensors so it would drive in the direction the fish was closest to. (I'm pretty sure I saw this, but thinking back I might have just made it up.)
