    I just bought a new computer! Only $599, but big upgrades in all respects from my old one. It came yesterday and I am now typing on it.

    I feel like kind of a traitor though. Been using the same keyboard since freshman year (fall '00), and this package came with a new kb and mouse (everything but speakers and monitor).

    It's a little grimy. A bunch of the letters are all but worn off, and the right side of the space bar is worn almost all the way through (like, the plastic is so thin that it's translucent in one spot). Many papers have been typed on that keyboard.

    Condom requirement for porn film actors to be voted on in California

    There's also something about privacy laws being such that you can't be compelled to disclose the results of a test for HIV, so the entire system is on shaky legal ground.
